Travel information
Participants will most likely reach the island by plane. Tenerife offers two international airports, one at the north of the island, and the other one at the south.
The North Airport (TFN) is the most convenient for arriving at the venue, and is well served by flights from Mainland Spain. From TFN, a relatively short taxi ride (25 km) will bring you to the hotel. There is also a bus service (TITSA 102) passing through the airport every half hour.
The South Airport (TFS) is better served by direct flights from Northern Europe and other international cities. The distance from south airport to Puerto de la Cruz is about 90 km. Frequent and inexpensive local buses can take you to Santa Cruz, the island main city (67 km). From there, a taxi or a second bus can bring you to the hotel in Puerto de la Cruz (37km).

The hotel
The selected hotel for the course is Hotel Las Aguilas.
It is a four star hotel located on a hill top with stunning panormaic views of the Orotava Valley, Puerto de la Cruz, Atlantic Ocean and the majestic Teide Volcano. The registration price includes three nights on single or double room (see preregistration page), with breakfast and lunch. The course will take place on a wide conference hall adequated to bring a comfortable and productive environment for attendees.
Puerto de la Cruz
Puerto de la Cruz is a city devoted to tourism since XIX century. Today it remains as one of the main tourist destinations of Canary Islands, due to its soft climate.
