DIABESITY is a Working Group of the ERA-EDTA created to promote and disseminate knowledge on the relationship between obesity, diabetes and renal disease.

In this first CME course of DIABESITY we will discuss common aspects of renal disease in diabetes and obesity: epidemiology, clinical studies, and pathways of renal disease, glomerular hyperfiltration, insulin resistance, inflammation, renal lipotoxicity, new histological markers of renal damage, animal models, and the impact of life-style interventions.

Welcome to Tenerife, to this CME course of DIABESITY.

This activity is carried out within the IMBRAIN project (FP7-REGPOT-2012-CT2012-316137-IMBRAIN)
